The Chef Behind the Purism

My culinary journey is defined by two contrasting worlds that formed my definition of taste. Born in the mountains of Tyrol and trained in Austria's finest award-winning Hauben-restaurants, I learned that execution, timing, and respect for craftsmanship are non-negotiable. Over ten years, I refined my craft within these high-end environments under the uncompromising standards of Austrian precision.

Carrying this deep expertise with me, it was the raw, sun-drenched coast of the Algarve that gave my cooking its true soul. I realized as a purist chef that the greatest culinary challenge is to leave things out. To subtract until only the essence remains.

My cooking does not hide behind heavy creams or artificial additives. It celebrates the vibrant, sun-ripened produce of this unique coastline, handled with the discipline and technical rigor of my Austrian heritage.

What are your group size limits?+

To guarantee our strict standards, intimate private dining is precision-limited to 12 guests. For larger celebrations, we extend seamlessly into full-service catering through our trusted partner network. For yoga & wellness retreats, we scale the same way to accommodate larger groups.

Which areas of the Algarve do you cover?+

Our primary focus is the Western Algarve (from Lagos to Vila do Bispo, including Aljezur — a favorite retreat hotspot). Events in the Central or Eastern Algarve (e.g., Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Tavira) are available upon request.

How do you handle dietary restrictions and allergies?+

Allergies, intolerances, and specific dietary lifestyles are integrated completely noiselessly. You can note them directly in the booking form, and we will tailor the seasonal menu accordingly during our consultation.

What is included in your service?+

Our full-service experience is dedicated purely to food craftsmanship — from sourcing local farm ingredients and preparation to professional table service and leaving your kitchen spotless. Beverages are not included. However, we gladly provide a complimentary, tailored wine pairing recommendation for your chosen menu ahead of your booking.

How much notice do you require for a booking?+

Ideal timing: a lead time of 7 to 14 days is highly recommended to secure your preferred date and design your bespoke seasonal menu.

Last-minute requests: if our calendar has an open slot, short-notice bookings are welcome — get in touch and we'll confirm availability. Our dedicated 4-Hour Alarm Service is a priority channel reserved for our agency and concierge partners; see the Agency & Concierge pillar above for details.

Do I need to provide any kitchen equipment or tableware?+

Not at all for the cooking side. We operate fully autonomously and bring our own hand-selected ceramic plates and linens (part of the presentation) along with all specialized culinary tools. We use your venue's own cutlery and glassware, which in premium properties are almost always of excellent quality. The only things we utilize on-site are a basic stove, oven, and standard running water. For minimalist kitchens, we adapt our preparation process beforehand to ensure a seamless execution.

How is your pricing structured, and what is included?+

We operate on a fully transparent, tiered pricing model based on your group size. Rates scale progressively from €130 to €225 per person. Our baseline package starts at a flat rate of €450 (covering up to 2 guests). The price covers the sourcing of premium local ingredients, kitchen preparation, travel within our primary area, professional on-site cooking and table service, and leaving your kitchen absolutely spotless.

Premium upgrades: you can seamlessly elevate your experience with optional add-ons, including an Additional Signature Course (+€25 p.P.), an interactive Mindful Pasta Workshop, or multi-day Retreat Packages (available upon request).

To confirm your exclusive date on our Seasonal Table, a deposit is required for every booking.

Can we customize the menu, or do you only offer fixed sets?+

While we feature carefully curated seasonal signature menus, your personal preferences are our blueprint. During our initial consultation, we gladly refine courses, swap ingredients, or adjust the culinary direction to perfectly match the mood of your culinary experience and your guests' tastes.

What happens if our plans change? (Cancellation Policy)+

We understand that plans can change. A 30% deposit secures your exclusive date on our Seasonal Table and is deducted from your final bill. Depending on how close to the event you notify us, our cancellation terms follow a fair, sliding scale — full refund with plenty of notice, more limited closer to the date, as we source ingredients specifically for your group.
